Fast growing electronic enclosure manufacturer near Northridge needs an Electronic Engineer with heavy aerospace/defense industry experience with analog circuits experience. Orcad experience strongly preferred. The position pays in the 90k - 130k range with excellent benefits!
Electronic Engineer MTS-IV (Analog/Power)RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the design and development of analog circuit card assemblies, power supplies, and motor drive assemblies, as well as support existing products. Writing product specifications, test plans, test procedures, etc. Responsible for concept analog and power supplies design, parts selection, design analysis/ simulation, detailed design, schematic and PWB Design Rules creation Support the layout of the circuit cards, card and system level debug and verification. Coordinate activities of engineers within the Engineering Department and/or across company programs and projects Support customers as they integrate our products into their systems. Lead special Research & Development project activities or investigations within the Electronic Engineering discipline. Direct and coordinate all activities necessary to complete a major electrical engineering project or several small projects Manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous activities SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:Minimum 10+ years of Analog and Digital Design experience with mil-spec programs. Solid analog design and debug skills (A/D, D/A, active / passive filters, RDC, 28V DC power supplies up to 500W, 115V AC/DC power supplies up to 500W, AC/DC motors power drive circuits, power drivers, IGBTs, bridges, up to 600V / 40A) Experience with development tools for design capture, simulation, and debug. In particular experience with OrCAD Schematic Capture, PSpice.Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as cohesively within a team environment with minimal supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
